We're trying to plan a vacation for September. We were going to spend it in Sarasota, FL at Erik's parents condo but they might be selling it for a new one so we would hate to purchase plane tix when it's so up in the air. And we figure it is a good excuse to go somewhere we've never been!

Any suggestions for where to go? We're looking at staying in the US. Or eastern Canada could be an option. This will be Owen's first big trip. So any general vacation advice would be helpful too.
