Default Bed dilema

I know this has been talked about before, but I'll ask again. Ava has always slept well in her crib, since 8 months old. Last night, when I got home from the gym, dh said she just fell asleep (at 9:30 vs. the usual 8:00), and, that she climbed out of the crib. It happened while he was sitting in the room with her, and he caught her just as she was about to fall. So, now I don't know what to do. I'm not ready to try to have her sleep in a bed. Only because I'm so used to her sleeping so well in her crib, I'm afraid the transition will be hard. What would you do? I know I remember someone talking about crib nets? Should I do that, or just go ahead and move her to a bed? And how do you make that as easy as you can?
Thanks,
Laura
