Our Testing and Game Plans

Julie Have been trying for #2 since May 2004. Chemical pg in 8/04 and then D&C performed 12/04 for another pregnancy. HSG testing found fibroid that was removed 4/05. Given green light to try again in 5/05, but no luck yet. Just (3/1/06) changed doctors and new doc prescribed clomid for me and wants to watch my progesterone. Starting with 50mg on cd 3-7

Janet {jsweeney64}--I have one son and have had four losses since his birth. Fertility testing has not detected any problems. I am currently taking progesterone and am waiting to meet with my doctor to discuss the possibility of using clomid or femara.

Staci I am on my 3rd dose of femara 2.5mg cd5-9, 81mg baby aspirin, prenatal vitamins and progesterone suppositories 2x a day after O. I had 2 miscarriages-5/95 & 10/95, then 2 live births and another miscarriage 5/05. Had tests and nothing seems to be wrong... "secondary infertility". I took 5 doses of femara and this month (4/06) I did w/o femara just temp and opk.

Chloe {justjaiden}--Unknown at this time. Testing so far has been negative. Ttc naturally this cycle, before IVIg, clomid and IUI next cycle (that will be the biggie ).

Julie {juliesfirstbaby}-- We have been TTC since March 2003, gotten pregnant twice and had 2 m/c - one in 12/03 at 12 weeks and one missed m/c in 7/04 at 6 weeks. Hysteroscopy and diagnostic laproscopy performed on May 4, 2005 to remove a uterine polyp. Everything else looked ok - no scarring or blocked tubes. Update: due Summer 2006!!

Colleen {colleenf1}-- PCP diagnosed me with Graves' Disease. My PCP and endo are very confident that my hyperactive thyroid is the cause for my losses. Was put on antithyroid meds April 1st and a beta blocker. Follow up appointment determined removal of my thyroid necessary and will be having surgery June 05. Have the A-OK to TTC 1st cycle after surgery. Also waiting for results to determine if I have a P4 deficiency. P4 came back at 8.5, will be starting P4 in July when I start TTC again. Update: It's a boy!! Born May 2006!

Jen {poohbearjen}-- If this cycle (5/05) is bust I am on to lap to check if everything is ok-and then after that injectibles-which I am very excited about in a way-I hear they do very good things!! Update: due in Feb 2006!

Melissa {Melissa828}--TTC #1 6 years (since June 1999) 8 failed IUIs. Doing another round of IUI and injectables. Plan to adopt in 2006.

Alyssa {Alybear}-- Taking baby aspirin and progesterone. Update: It's a boy!! Born Aug 2006!

Ellie {Ellie UK}-- Had 3 endo operations and 4 m/c prior to having her healthy daughter in Oct 2005.

Sheri {lovineachday}--Had two losses, then a son, then five more losses. Was diagnosed in May 2006 with a chromosomal problem (balanced translocation). Currently on a break until we decide what to do next.

Stephanie {prayingfornumber2}--We've been TTC our second child since February of 2004. Got pg off the bat and that ended in a miscarriage at 9+ weeks. The Dr. first suspected a molar pregnancy (hell, once he told me that) but the pathology from D&C determined it wasn't. Must have just been an empty sac (blighted ovum). Second miscarriage 2/03. 6w no heartbeat, 7w a flicker, then no heartbeat. D&C needed 8+w. Tested for all immunological factors, clotting factors, complete trombophila workup, karyotyping, bloodwork, endo biopsy, and HSG. All normal (left tube didn't spill dye w/ HSG..but Dr thinks it's fine). Protocol: Crinone 8% (progesterone) starting after ovulation and continued till at least 9 weeks (upon BFP). Update: It's a boy!! Born Feb 2006.

Marion (Pansygirl) - Had 1 healthy dd, then 2 losses. Chromosomal analysis from 2nd m/c showed abnormality was reason for loss...Tried 3 cy of Anastrozle, Ovidrel, Progesterone & baby aspirin...no luck...Nov 06 testing showed high level of FSH...now on estrogen and prometrium. Update: due in October 2007!

I'm currently in the process of IVF #4. Suppression check is tomorrow so at this point I'm waiting to ovulate. Thanks!
