Default Is spotting normal?

I have had 4 miscarriages since November 06 and am now 6.5 weeks pregnant. My doctor has done all the tests and found nothing wrong with me, so she has put me on progesterone for the first time. The thing is I have been spotting since yesterday lunch time, although it's still brown and very very light. Is this normal for anyone else on progesterone? I never had spotting with my 2 other successful pregnancies, and the last 4 m/c started out with brown spotting and then became red very quickly. I had an ultrasound last week and it actually showed a gestational sac and yolk sac, something my previous 4 pgs never showed. The doctor said this was a good sign, but now the spotting has started. I have to wait till the end of the week for another scan and it is driving me crazy! Can anyone else tell me if this has happened to them before? And does it mean it's all going to end badly again?

I'm sorry you're dealing with the worry and stress.

For me, sadly - I always deal with some kind of bleeding and/or spotting during early pregnancy. Sometimes it means something is wrong, other times they can find no reason for it.

My Dr always told me that "old" (brown) blood wasn't a worry, because sometimes you can shed some of the lining of your ute while you are in the early stages of pregnancy.

Hopefully it's nothing to worry about and you'll have a great scan and see your little one growing strong

I know of women who spotted for months and had healthy babies. Please just take it easy and try to rest as much as possible. I pray that you get great news on your next visit. I am sorry you have to worry so much when you should be excited. After 2 m/c I don't know if I will be more excited or scared the next time.
