We have a heartbeat!! It was 120. The doctor is thrilled with how much M/S I have and that we got that great of a heartbeat this early.
I don't go back until January 5th. So we will see if I can survive that long without panicking!

WOW! it is has been sooo long since I have been to the boards. I have tears in my eyes reading all of the miracle babies! I had no idea so many had graduated from this board. I was so happy to see I am still on the list, my William Holden is almost 3 years old. We had another m/c in 05 and went on to have a beautiful healthy girl, who will be one in just a few weeks. Livia Irene was born jan 26th 2006.

I am dropping off a truckload of babydust for everyone here, and wishing you all the best of luck. I know we do not know eachother but we all have that bond.... I know in my heart you will all have your babies soon

has doubled from 144 on 16dpo to 447 on 19dpo.
(Doubling time of 46 hours). I can't say I wasn't hoping for a bigger number to help ease my mind a little, but honestly, I think in my situation there's not much that really makes me confident (besides 9 month contractions!! lol). One day at a time....

I go back for the next one on Fri and will prob get results on Sat.

Can't wait to see you guys at PAML!!!!
Think of you all every day!

Beta #3...

is 1125 at 22dpo (5 weeks).
Doubling time is 54 hours (from 447 on 19dpo, when there was a doubling time of 46 hrs).

This is SO hard..... I feel like I know where I'm headed, y'know?

I've decided that I'm probably not going to do anymore betas. I told the nurse that they just stress me out and really, we're just going to need to do an u/s anyway, y'know?

So, we'll do an u/s around 6 1/2 weeks. It's going to be feel like forever until then, so I better figure out a way to keep my sanity.

Sheri, those are great doubling times! You know it's supposed to be between 48-72 hours at this point. No STRESS!! I had doubling times of 68 hours and I was pg with TWINS!

It's all good. Deep breath in, deep breath out. In just a short time, you'll see your little bean on the u/s screen with a heart beating in morse code that says "hi mom"

ladies!!!!!!!!!!

I think I'm going to go in on Sunday morning for my first scan. I'll be 6w2d. The nurse asked me to wait until Wed, but I don't think I can. I know the doc won't mind me coming in a couple of days early.

Please send me vibes!!! You guys know how much I need all the luck I can get!!!!

Lurking everyday, waiting for the next that's 'coming soon'!!!!

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to update the board. My little guy is 2 weeks old today. We had a pediatrician appointment and Colton is 6 lbs. 6 oz. and 19 1/2 inches long. He's definitely growing. He's doing great, breastfeeding is challenging, and sleep? What's that? I'm loving every minute of it though.

Thought I'd share a cute pic of my little sweetie. I can't get enough of him.

OMG!!!!! LOOK AT HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!

He's adorable, Lynne.....so glad to hear that you're enjoying every minute of it. People aren't lying when they say it goes fast....the best advice anyone gave me was to enjoy every day, even the bad ones, because before you know it, they're big.

Glad to hear that all is good with you, too, Angela!

PRAISE THE LORD!!!
We have a heartbeat!!!!
I've been praying about this u/s nonstop, and kept asking God to calm me down...well, as I pulled into the RE's parking lot, a song came on the radio that has very special meaning in my life and my faith, and I just knew it was a sign that everything was going to be ok.
As I expected, I'm not as far along as my LMP due date (I know I O'd about cd 16, and I think implantation was about 8-9 dpo, based on some light spotting)...so the RE thinks I'm more like 6-1/2 weeks, instead of 7. I think I'll leave my ticker alone for now, because it is difficult enough to get thru this 1st trimester without LOSING time, KWIM?
The little bean was TINY! But that heartbeat was the best sight/sound EVER! It was around 117 bpm, which sounded low to me, but my RE assured me it was good (I have to remind myself that that tiny little heart probably just started beating a few days ago!).

We have another U/S on March 22...so deep breaths and lots more prayers until then!

THANK YOU, ladies, for being there with me every step of the way!!!!

I thought I'd have 2 children--or 3--or 4...in any case, I thought I'd have more. But the plans that I had didn't match His plans for me. It's all for the best, as I'm starting to see. My one precious child that I hold in my arms, keeps me smiling and laughing with all of her charms. She's smart, and she's sweet, she's my loving "nuggie bug," and whenever I need her, she's there with a hug. So here I am, raising one perfect little girl. To me and her daddy, she means all of the world. I guess I actually did get my way, because I've got 3 other children I'll meet in Heaven one day. So until then, I'll cherish the one here on earth, and know that I'm being watched over by those to whom I never gave birth.

We had our first u/s with the RE and heard the heartbeat. The little miracle is measuring 8 wks 1 day and my new EDD is 1-21-08. This little baby is doing very well so far!
I am released to Dr. Teteris (OB) and was told to stop prometrium at 11 wks unless Teteris says otherwise. I see him next Tuesday for my first prenatal appointment.

Most of you probably don't remember me. I started posting under this name on the EZBOARD TTCAL back in 2003, then I moved on to posting under the name Imperfectionista shortly there after...

Update on me : After 3 years of TTC & almost a 2 year break, 6 m/c's, a cervical biopsy for the beginnings of cervical cancer ( 8/05 ) , a LEEP & discovering I was all clear ( 10 & 11/05 ) , a divorce ( '06 ), & moving to California ( 7/06 )... I met someone who seems to be the love of my life & we weren't trying to get pregnant, but it happened & we couldn't be happier I'm FINALLY going to be a mother in January!! Everything seems to be going awesomely this time, we saw the heartbeat of 176bpm @ 8w+3d, then again 176bpm @ 10w+6d... & @ the last doctor's appointment it was 156bpm @ 13 weeks My next U/S is 5 weeks away & I'm ansy

I used to lurk around keeping tabs on all my old buddies from TTCAL, but you've all but disappeared. I hope everyone is doing well

I thought I should update here. I had an u/s yesterday and everything is good. My baby had a nice strong heartbeat and is measuring right where he/she should. It's a miracle!! I haven't made it to 7 weeks in soo long. I know I'm not out of danger yet though.
