Default I'm new

hi all,
I thought I would introduce myself. I'm 33 years and been married for almost 7years. We have a gorgeous 4 year old son, who took us about 9 months to conceive. We began ttc for #2 almost 1.5 years ago and we finally got pregnant in April. I found out at 4 weeks and we were so excited to finally have it happen. Then at 5 weeks exactly, i woke up on a Sunday morning and was spotting lightly. Then throughout the day, it was obvious that it was over. All signs or symptoms had disappeared and I got a full period.
This was two weeks ago, and I thought I was starting to feel better, but something happened yesterday and I got completely emotional all over again!

I can't imagine what women do when they're further along and lose their babies! I was only 5 weeks along and this is absolutely killing me. I keep waiting to feel better but it's just not happening! I'm terrified of trying again incase this happens again!
Thanks for listening!

Hi, Tania!

I'm so sorry for your loss, it is very sad you have to go through that; I wish no women in earth will have to go thru that ordeal. I have had several m/c's now and always is a very difficult and sad situation.
I hope since your loss was really early you can go and try as soon as you want again. And don't think it will happen again don't be scared you will never know if you don't give it a chance.
Good luck on your next cycle if you decide to go ahead!

God Bless!

Hi Tanya, I'm new around here too..........I was pregnant with our 3rd, found out end of March, and Mid-April, at almost 7 weeks when I went in for my first doc's appt, I started spotting the night before. It was devastating.

It's been over a month and a half now, I've gotten my period (it was only one day!), and we've already started TTC! But I must tell you, the emotions can flare up at the drop of a hat. Don't expect it to be just done and gone and you should be ok about it. Unless you are a man, that doesn't really happen. :/ They have a way of brushing away the emotional side of it and looking forward, at least my hubby does!

So anyway, hang in there, keep your head up, and keep focused. I'm trying to do the same!

I can relate to your emotions. My husband and I have now experienced many m/c and recently an ectopic twin pregnancy. We do not have any children yet. Every time we lose a child it is hard on both of us, and we do take some time to try and adjust, but we have always tried again....when we felt ready. We are going to try again, even though we have special circumstances for this one.

I send you healing thoughts for a speedy recovery and I hope you get back on to TTC as soon as you are comfortable, which I hope is very very soon!!!! *hugs*
