Question about d&c

I had a d&c this past Thurs. Well I was spotting lightly the last few days, but it has gotten a bit heavier since then, and I just went to the bathroom and the toilet had blood in it with some small clumps of tissue. Called the dr. and she told me that it was okay as long as I wasn't soaking a pad per hour for three hours. Has anyone else had experience with this?? Should I be concerned?
