I'm having a weird period. I normally bleed moderately to heavy the first day and then it trails off a bit and lasts for 3 days. This month I started yesterday with some light bleeding. I used one tampon yesterday. I had it in for about 3 hours. When I removed it, there was stuff there but not much and I haven't put another back in (TMI, sorry!)

Today I wore a pad and it only has a couple spots on it which are brown. When I wipe it's mostly dry. A couple times there has been a glob about 1/2 the size of a pea on the TP but nothing more.

My temp went up again this morning too. I have some cramps but they aren't too bad. Hmm... do you think if my period doesn't straighten up it would be worth testing again?

I read a little online about implantation bleeding, does this sound like anything you guys have heard of?

I would say yes, it couldn't hurt to test again! The worst that happens is another BFN . . . and maybe you'll get lucky and see a BFP! If not . . . well, come back and we'll brainstorm other possibilities.

I'm sort of having a similar (but different) issue . . . it is taking AF forever to get started. I got a touch of spotting the day before yesterday late at night, then there was definite spotting all day yesterday, then today, it is almost light flow - but it is kind of pink-ish. I can't seem to get a real bleed going yet. I decided to call today CD1, but I'm not sure.

What is it with these weird cys?

Well my bleeding has totally stopped. I have never had a period start then stop. Basically I bled very lightly for about three hours then had about 24 hours of brown spotting after that.

I guess I'll try and test in a couple days if doesn't come on stronger.

Okay, I love to hypothesize on charts, so here goes

I *think* your O date might be incorrect. While OPKs are great, they aren't 100% guaranteed. Did you take any OPKs after the positive that you recorded? You may have had another positive the next day and actual O can occur as many as four days after your positive OPK. That said, on CD19 you had a nice temp dip. If that was your actual O date, you'd only be 12dpo today. And 11dpo is a perfectly acceptable time for implantation.

If you take away the positive OPK, does FF change your O date?

Well I did not take any more OPKs. After I got that + I stopped. Come to think of it, I think a couple of the girls on here told me that I should test again because my positive didn't look too dark. Here's a picture of the OPK I took on CD 14.

Should I test with FMU tomorrow? If I just experienced implantation bleeding yesterday and today would tomorrow be too early?

Mandy, you are most welcome!! I love interpreting charts If your bleeding has completely stopped, you might want to test again.

Even if it's a , keep in mind tomorrow you'll only be 13dpo, so it's still kind of early. If you don't get by Monday, definitely retest.

OH MY....I was out this evening and missed all this till now.....WOW Mandy that is crazy. I TRULY TRULY hope this was implantation bleeding....how you described it....it very much sounds like it especially with Krissy's interpretation of your chart.

Mandy - I also hope it was implantation bleeding. I don't think the O date is correct either - but you don't really have a clear O date this month with a strong rise (probably from the erratic sleep due to the puppy). The OPK in the picture doesn't look positive to me - it looks close, but not positive. I get ones like that for a day or two (sometimes more) before I get a positive.

I say test again tomorrow . . . see what you find out.

What happened with your temp on cycle day 17?
To me, your temps look like o occurred when your chart says, unless your temp on day 17 was actually lower than showing... maybe o occurred on day 19?
its odd that your temps are still up , makes me think that maybe o was on day 19.

Hmm...I don't know what happened on CD17. I don't know why the dot is not filled in. What can cause that? I went in and looked at that day and nothing was different.

Krissy thought that I may have Od on cd 19. But I'm worried that if I did because we didn't BD around that time.

My spotting has stopped. The cramps are gone too. I just have these passing "pains" they don't hurt that bad they are just like a tight feeling.

The open circle usually means you took the temp either earlier or later than your normal time. If it was later, that can make the temp higher. Earlier can make it lower.

Well - so far everything sounds promising - I hope you get that BFP. The only other things I can think of (aside from a late O) are no ovulation (can lead to spotting at normal time, though), or an insufficient ovulation (your lining might not have thickened enough for a full bleed), or a cyst that burst - could also cause spotting. So, I'd say test tomorrow - if not, maybe try getting a blood test or talk to your doctor about the other possibilities. This must be so confusing . . . I wish it was easier to get answers when TTC!

I am gassy in my lower belly and feel a lot of pressure and bloating.

I'm sorry, Mandy. Could you have a cyst? Cysts can cause a lot of these symptoms - and could cause your hormone levels (and your temp) to be elevated.

I hope that isn't it. I hope that you just had a late O that is hard to see on your chart, and that you are pg. I would say if AF isn't here by Monday, go to the doctor. Have them check for hormone levels, pg, cysts . . . whatever else they can think of! I guess it is also possible that you didn't O this cy, and you just got some light spotting around the time of your period before moving on to a new cy.

This is why someone needs to invent an easier way for us to look inside and see what is going on.

Sorry girly....I agree with Tkeys if you do not have any things solid by Monday being either a or your AF I would go see your doc. That way you will have a definitive answer instead of living in a state of flux. I know how hard that is.
