an update
Everything is great. Both babies are in a head down position, so my hips hurt. My bp is great, 120 over 60. Yea. I have not gained much, and both of my little one are unable to stay still. One moves all night, and the other one all day. My stomach can do the wave, all by it's self.
I am hoping against all that I can try for a VBAC, at this stage they are not to likely to move around, apparently that is just the shape of my uterus, so they are stuck. I am told that I will continue to expand, but I just don't see how...I feel so huge. I tried to shave my legs, and I came to realize that I won't be able to do that for much longer. I just could not get past my stomach. I had my sister go over the spots that I missed. lol
My only complaint...is when people find out that I'm having twins, their response is "oh my GOD, that will be so hard", " I am glad it's not me" or something to that effect. there comments are thoughtless and sometime are quite rude. So now I have fun with them...I tell them the most offensive response. Here's are just a few...I plan on tossing the runt back, I'm giving the ugly one away, and one is just will be used for extra body parts. The look on their faces, it really shuts them up.
Honestly I am more then thrilled to be pregnant with twins, for me it's a blessing. So why these people feel that they can be critical I don't know, it's pointless to even try to explain it to them. So I tell them something I think is just as ridiculous.
Hope this does not offend people, I just think it's funny that people feel the need to criticize. These day's I feel wicked, and I have a serious need to tell these people just how tacky they are, so I use tacky humor.

Re: an update
Congratulations, glad everything is looking good! I have a close friend with twins, a boy and a girl, and yes of course its hard (having one baby is hard, duh!!!) but let me tell you...hers are 4 now and she has it made. They go to preschool together, they play together, they eat together, they go to bed at the same time, etc. Whereas here I am with two of different ages, one in school, one not, one eats at this time, one at another, and so on, not to mention that mine both want to play with me all the time and they are 1 and 3 so their interests are completely different! I wish I would have had twins, seriously! They have the best time together, those two, and even better, he is into her stuff and she is into his so they are very well rounded kids. I just can't believe people are so rude to you, good for you for putting them in their place

Re: an update
I'm shocked . . . I think twins would be wonderful! And I love your responses . . . maybe you can add "I'm thinking of selling one to get some extra cash" to your list.

Re: an update
Congrats on everything looking so good. Yes I think ppl are stupid when it comes to multiples. I could only hope we would be so lucky. My OB/GYN has made a big deal out of having multiples. She doesn't like the RE I am seeing because they have higher multiple rates. I just don't think that she really doesn't understand that for those of us who have been TTC for so long are just grateful to get pregnant. Even though she worked for that office when she was in school she still knocks them. She knows that the RE can "recommend" how many embabies to put back but ultimatly it is your choice. This is one area that really gets under my skin with people. I worked with an "older" woman that felt it necessary to express her thoughts about women going through fertility treatments. I was going through my first round of IVF at that very same time and it took everything I had to keep my composure about her "OPINIONS".....
Sorry for the rant...stuff like that just really gets to me .

Re: an update
Hon, you are stronger then me. I would have told her to tell it to someone who cares what she thinks.

Re: an update
Hiya!
Thanks for the update, and I love your sense of humour... I like "I'm giving the ugly one away, "
Priceless
My cousin is having twins.
Im sure it is tough, but babies are tough regardless, I have a beautiful colicky screaming 5 week old boy, I couldnt imagine two of them, but as much as the baby stage can be twice as tough, it is MOST DEFINITELY twice the blessing as well.
I am so stoked for you!!! Very cool!
