Ugg...I'm going to throw my BBT out the window! have had O pains since yesterday. My temp went up but then came way down today. I don't really care because I feel like I have already O'd on CD18 OR 19.. So I am saying I am in the 2 WW despite what my chart says. I know my body better than a software program.
Blah...guess we will keep BD anyway.
The past few months, I have found that my o pains have started WAY before I actually ovulate. Often this is because our body gears up to ovulate, everything falls into place, and then for whatever reason, O doesnt happen... or happens a bit later. I was SURE i o'd about a week ago, (pain wise) but my temps were up and down... Had a fe high temps, then 'crash' lol. Now, I had a nice temp yesterday, slightly lower today, im HOPING that tomorrow will be another high temp.
Keep in mind that ovulation pains and cm etc are only secondary signs. The only way to determine ovulation is through a sustained shift in temps. (other than u/s or bloodwork)
Maybe your thermometer needs some new batteries?

I have to add... looking at your chart, that i do agree with FF (sorry! )
O pains can be from many things... most commonly, the swollen follies (which is why often the pain is on both sides, not just one) and from the actual bursting and rupturing- this can be during ovulation or after it, when the fluid from the released egg enters the abdominal cavity and causes irritation.
So sometimes the most severe o pains are before the egg bursts, when follies are enlarged etc.
As long as this cycle isnt annovulatory, which is possible still after your miscarriage (my condolences hon), then i think maybe tomorrow you will see a temp increase.
In order to ovulate, you need an estrogen surge... this estrogen surge signals the release of LH (which is what is measured by ovulation predictor kits)This causes the dominant follicle to rupture and release the egg . When you have the estrogen surge, you will usually have lower temps....
This is why o pains and lower temps are common right before and during ovulation.
So... looking at your temps, i would have to say it is unlikely that you already o'd. BUT, that you might be ovulating today. Have you taken any more opks, since the negative ones?

I guess that the thermometer could need new batteries. It seems to be working ok.
My pains have always been right around O. I am still getting them today. I think my body is just being weird this month. Good to know I'm not the only one! Hope your temp stays up so you can get your confirmation on O.
Thanks for the info...I ran out of the opk's. I'll have to buy more next month. I expected to O by now. O could be today...guess I'll see what happens with the temps tomorrow and keep BD. That's the fun part!
Looks like you got your confirmation on O today! I hope I O'd yesterday. How long is your LP?
Mine is usally 15 days so I have to wait until DH gets back in town around May 9th to do any kind of testing...I can be strong! Have you seen that blinkie "Friends don't let friends test before 12 dpo". lol
LOL
I havent seen that blinky, but i think its REALLY appropriate! Especially since I have been known to test as early as 3dpo, LOL
Im hoping i really did o.. my temps are so messed up, and RIGHT above the coverline.
I see you got your nice big temp jump! Very cool! I'm hoping you o'd ! You got some very well timed in

Yes we're both really worn out from BD! lol I told DH that if we don't get pregnant this month we could pretty much rule the not enough BD out as a reason. It looks like you definitely O'd maybe it will take a few days for the temps to climb up higher.
lol
I HATE the period of time up til o.
When d/h is on day shift, heworks really long days and has to be up at 4am, so he goes to bed early, and is so exhausted that beomes a chore.
And then when hes on evening shift, if we want to , I have to wait til 3am.
Add in the fact that i am breastfeeding an 8 month old that doesnt sleep through the night very often, and um... yeah, its REALLY hard to time the round here!

I LOVE it when o finally hits (even before Dante)
It's like FINALLY you can just relax and SLEEP, knowing that nothing you do can change anything.
For me, beleive it or not, although it gets stressful the 2ww is the EASIEST part for me, lol.. its the "Waiting to Ovulate" that drives me mad!

Shilo-That does sound difficult to be trying to BD around feeding an 8 month old and a crazy schedule. I agree with you that the 2 ww is really rather relaxing. I'm just glad DH was in town b/c he's missed O before and that's really aggravating.
Michelle- That's my daughter's middle name.
Thanks I think it was my stupid hormones and not my stupid BBT. I'm trying to give my body a little grace I know it's been through a lot this year. I've got to let it do what it needs to do and go with the flow..but not AF! lol
That's right... give yourself a break and let your body heal.
(and your spirit)
And put up a " Not Welcome!" sign on your door
I HATE when I think I'm missing o.
It's like OMG! An egg is on its way!!! We GOTTA !!!
