I had some lab drawn today to see about clomid levels for next cycle and autoimmune diseases. I have a question though... Is a uterine lining thickness of 9.7mm good?

I have read that between 8-13 is perfect.
If you google 'uterine lining thickness' that is probably the info you will get.
And as for Clomid..... MANY women have great success with it!!!
I cant wait to follow your progress!

I took my first ever round of clomid this cycle and opk was + today. I usually run a 40+ day anovulatory cycle but am on CD 16 today (now im on 2ww...grrrrrrrr). But as for clomid i have been doing ok, some hormone headaches, some acne (which i have never really had) and some light headedness but its worth the outcome hopefully. Doc didnt draw any blood and no u/s. He said he would like to see what one round on lowest dose would do.
As for uterine lining, no idea. I read to take mucinex the day after the last clomid pill to help with CM, other then that i know nothing about u/lining..

good luck to you!

that's a good thickness just prior to ovulating. i did several rounds of clomid, hated it. had horrible headaches, horrible mood swings and it shortened my LP. i had to start taking prog supplements in order to keep it greater than 11 days. i always had a 14 day LP prior to taking them. prog made the mood swings go away, but i still had the headaches. the key with clomid is to only go in waves of 3. 3 cycles of one dose, and then perhaps 3 cycles of the same dose with IUI, then up the dose and try again. i've seen women on the same dose for months on end with no change in protocol. there's quite a bit of literature that proves that 80% occur within the first 3 months.

well good! When we did the other ultrasound yesterday she measured it. They dont think I ovulated. I read the same thing about 80% of pregnancies occur within 3 months of first taking clomid. Maybe Ill just need a little boost and all Ill need is a low dose. I heard clomid is bad for your CM, where can I buy preseed?

i go to their website and see if there's pharmacy nearby, there was only one in 50 miles of us, internet is a good option. our RE highly recommends preseed, we've tried it and you can tell the difference from other lubricants. a little goes a long way. hope my post didn't scare you, my body and clomid just didn't get along real well. never tried mineral oil, does it interfere with spermies?

No you didnt scare me. Some people react differently to medications. Never heard of anyone using mineral oil. So no harm to sperm using it?

Minerial Oil really? I do get preseed on line. I must have a very thin CM lining (scary!) becaue i had no change in CM pre/o-oing. This our first month using preseed as well. I really like it. It is thin enough that it doesn't feel horrible and messy. As for clomid, there are alot of great discussion on the clomid discussion board. Your exactly right every one in so different, a friend of mine took clomid with no s/e and second month of same dose got pregos...

My s/e are tolerable but yesterday night had really bad cramps (made it hard to bd) so i must have ovulated (yippy). THe hormone headaches are the worst by far had to take yesterday off work, but it doens't surprise me that the day i ovulated i had the worst hormone headache so far!

Good luck and let me know how the clomid works!
