Hi ladies!

I'm in the 2ww and was thinking about my RH- situation. When I was pregnant with DS I had spotting, went to the ER & had the rhogam shot (I was probably 5 weeks along at that point.)

Since I know I'm RH- but don't know about hubby should I call the drs office and mention that if I get my BFP? Or is it something I can wait on and the spotting from before was unrelated?

Somehow need to make it through...I have 2 tests & I promised myself I could test at 10DPO and then had to wait till 12 or 13DPO for the second test....LOL *crosses fingers*

You should be okay. Rhogam is typically adminstered when you're about 5 months or when there's bleeding, as in your case. Unless you have a new doc you shouldn't have to mention it until you're further along. GL!

i didnt get my shot when i was about 30 weeks along...with this being your second pregnancy they may want to do it sooner. i would talk to your doc about it for sure.

I was also RH- and I plan on mentioning it first off just in case. I want my bases covered. lol

I think if they gave it to you that early with your other preg then I would say something.

I had to get one when I miscarried 4 yrs ago and to be on the safe side I got 1 at 28 weeks with this one.

Just a suggestion so you dont get uspet over a BFN, wait till day 12 and then 14. I have seen it but BFPs at day 10 are so rare and disheartening when you dont see a BFP early. It usually takes 6 to 10 days for implantation and then another 2 or 3 for your HCG levels to get up enough for testing. This is just MHO and suggestion.
