Default ok, here is a question...

hey gals.. so, Dh & i have been spicing it up (IF you know what i mean) and having a great time this month. but we are obviously focused in on the same goal (ie: aware of my cycle, timing, etc)

ok, so ...yesterday was my 'supposed' O day. we've done the every other day thing for the last week but yesterday, last night, we ended up getting really in the moment and DTD twice. both times Dh made a deposit.

i'm trying to be delicate here and hope you can follow:

Dh was revved up for the second round, but said something like "won't it hurt the egg?"... i kindof laughed about it. but now i'm questioning it myself.

if you DTD twice in a row, does it counteract the sperm? did we somehow 'hurt' our chances of conceiving?

anyone know? TIA!

I don't think you did I think that you just made sure that there was plenty up there to make sure that one got to the egg. when I got pregnant both times with my sons it was alway's a carried away all night 2 or more times. So I think that you will be fine. But I am no expert at the topic on hand.

I think the same thing that happens when the first set got there. don't worry if the egg is already fertilized(sp?) then there won't be anything for those sperm to do but die off. If the egg isn't fertilized then they join in the race to see who is the one to fertilize the egg. make sense?

The cycle I got pregnant on, we DTD at least once a day for almost 3 weeks straight. Most days it was twice. LOL but I was on vacation!
