Default New here, can anyone help me???

Hi, I'm Kendel....I'm normally over in Born in March 07, and didn't expect to find myself lurking over here anytime soon. But here's the deal...

This is my second cycle PP. Breastfeeding and Delayed ovulation. I'm now 8 days dpo. Temperature dip on day 7. Spotted some last night and a little this morning, but now have quite a bit of red blood. Last night, I was convinced it was implantation spotting, but now I have no clue. My luteal phase is normally about 12 days. Could this be my period?

Any thoughts are welcome!! Thanks!

hehe, well the response is just overwhelming!

I guess you are all just busy celebrating your BFPs! Good luck everyone, but I think I'm out. Today was 9dpo, and yesterday my spotting turned into a light period. Strange thing though, my temp was back up yesterday and today, so I still don't get it. But, most signs point to AF.

I wouldn't rule out pregnancy just yet. It is possible to have a regular AF.

Sorry to have missed your post!
Im such a bad Host!
My little Due In August darling has been keeping me really busy, he is already cutting his two bottom teeth! And he is so fussy.

It could just be that your luteal phase is a bit irregular still with your recent birth and breast feeding etc.
If the bleeding stops within a 3 day time period, I would certainly take a hpt, just to be sure. Otherwise, it could just be your body regulating itself

So, Shilo--are you saying that it's possible to have a shorter luteal phase based on different circumstances, like breastfeeding? I guess I just always thought that the luteal phase stayed basically the same, within a day or two of possible difference, but that it was the first phase (forgot the official name of that) that could be irregular...?? Am I wrong about that one? It's been a long time since I have researched Fertility Awareness, so I've forgotten a lot.

I have stopped bleeding....from the time I started spotting, it was a little less than 48 hours long. Which, would be uncommon for me for a period. But, it just seemed too heavy to be just implantation, from what I've googled . My temp was down on 7dpo (below coverline), up a little on 8dpo(back above coverline), and up a bit more than that on 9dpo. I just don't get why it would be going back up if that was a true period, you know?
I'm pulling my hair out on this one!

Should I be worried about it? Like, could it be something else?
