A few questions regarding cycle, ovulation, and implantation.
My last AF started on Sept. 21st, BUT I ovulated late CD 22 (October 13th).
A little background:
Before my DS I had a 30 day cycle and always ovulated on CD 16 or CD17.
I'm still BF my DS and I didn't have a period for 12 months after I had him. Sept. 21st was my first period. So things are still pretty wacky.
So my question is since I O'd much later then I normally do should I expect AF on the show up on the 20th-21st or will that be pushed out since I ovulated later this cycle?
Any help would be appreciated.
Also is 5 DPO to early for implantation? Can you have light cramping (for a couple of hours) due to implantation?

Re: A few questions regarding cycle, ovulation, and implantation.
On average you should expect AF 12-14 days after O. As far as the impantation I think that is can occur anytime between 5dpo to 10dpo. I am not possitive on that one but I do know that cramping can be a sign of implantation but it is no guarantee that is what it is.
Hope this helps...

Yes, as Mellisa said... AF should show about 12-14 days after O. So if you O'd late, AF will be late.
I am 7 dpo and I had some sharp pain around my ovary at 4 & 5 dpo and light cramping for a while at 6 dpo.
So...I hope it's an implantation sing for us both

Good luck ladies...I'll be thinking about you. When do you test? Don't be shy, let us know how it goes.

Re: A few questions regarding cycle, ovulation, and implantation.
I am planning to start testing Saturday, I'll be 9dpo
I know that's way too early but if I do get a BFP I want to save all the tests leading up to it so I can see the gradual showing of it.

Re: A few questions regarding cycle, ovulation, and implantation.
to what the other ladies said... should show up 12-14 days after ovulation, and implantation can occur as early as 6dpo and as late as 10dpo (altho that is usually too late for a successful pregnancy) General implantation is 7-10dpo...
That being said, i was SURE i could feel that egg implanting early when i got pregnant. I startined testing at 3dpo, yes im insane, .... and I still have my sticks Well, not the ones from 3dpo, but i have the ones from 9 onward.

Thank you ladies. I plan on testing either Monday or Tuesday. Monday will be 9 dpo. Thank you for the well wishes.
