calling all chart stalkers!!
Can you tell me what the heck is up with this chart!? At first, FF marked my O day as day 28, but then moved it a few days ago. I had a streak of blood yesterday afternoon....like a long red thread in my cf, and no more spotting since. No signs of AF either. My last cycle was a mess, as I am still breastfeeding my 9 month old, so I'm still trying to figure my LP out. My biggest question is....when would you think I ovulated based on my chart? I know it's a weird chart, but any guesses are welcome!
I've never spotted without my period following more than a few hours later, so I'm baffled! If FF was wrong to move my coverline a few days, then that spotting yesterday would have been on 8dpo(?), I think. But, as is, the spotting is on 3dpo. Going bonkers over here!

Re: calling all chart stalkers!!
Hmmm . . . I can see how either of those dates would work. You CM indicates the O where it is now, but based on temps it could be CD 28. I'm not sure you are going to get an answer unless AF arrives, or if you are pg and they do a dating u/s. Sometimes people spot with O or bd . . . so maybe the spotting is from that? I wish I could be more help.

Re: calling all chart stalkers!!
Thanks for your thoughts! I think you're right though about just waiting to see if AF comes along. As painful as that seems! I have never had O spotting to my knowledge, and as far as spotting from BD, I kinda doubt it because I don't think it makes much sense with the timing of the spotting. One thing though, FF is calling my bd timing "good" for both potential ovulation times, so, who knows!
Thanks again for taking a look!

I can see either day as well...I am kind of leaning more towards day 28 though. Can't wait to see what the next few days hold!

Re: calling all chart stalkers!!
Thanks Stephany! I was ridiculous and tested last night...negative of course, but I know it was insanely early for either potential O date. It was a dollar tree test so I don't feel bad!
BTW, your temp is headed in a nice direction!!

Re: calling all chart stalkers!!
Well, based on your cm and temps, and o date from last cycle, I would say 3dpo. It does seem as though some form of ovulation is going on, although it is possible for to show without ovulation..but looking at your chart from your last cycle, and this cycle, I would say that your hormones might not be in reproductive mode just yet, probably due to breastfeeding. I say this because of the recurring fertile cm, and short luteal phase.
Of course, another thought would be that you o'd on cycle day 28, and have now gone triphasic?

Re: calling all chart stalkers!!
Thanks Shilo! I know what you mean about the possibility of me not ovulating, but I guess I didn't know that I could have a temp shift if I had not O'd...??? Hmmm, I'll have to do some research! I have never charted while breastfeeding until last month, because well, my last baby was a surprise because I got pregnant with him on my first cycle post pregnancy while nursing my first. I know that prolactin makes it harder to ovulate and the body can often try several times to ovulate(hense the patches of fertile cm), but I just assumed that I wouldn't see a temp shift until I had ovulated. Does that make sense? Oh sheesh, I dunno! My temps don't seem to be going the right direction for pregnancy this month. I wish that was enough to make me stop biting my nails about it!
