Default Blood Test Results (good news/bad news)

First the bad news:

After calling my doctor's office 5 times, I finally got someone to answer.

They did a HCG Beta Quantitive blood test yesterday....

I wasn't upset, I knew I wasn't pregnant. I wasn't happy about the attitude of the lady I spoke with and that was the last straw.

Now the good news:

I have an appointment to meet with a new doctor on Monday. (Sarah's (sarahlovesbryan) doctor . She was kind enough to recommend her and I called the office and can tell already that it's a better office. They seem very friendly and patient.

I am so excited about it! I just want to show so I can be on cycle day 1. How weird huh?

I am going to:

*see my new doctor
*buy the best BBT thermometer that I can find
*take robitussin
*and try the sperm meets the egg plan I found online, it's vey logical.

So I have new hope. to me

Having a good doctor is so important; I'm glad you're looking for a new one. My friend stuck with one she wasn't happy with, and when she had problems in her pregnancy it was a disaster. I hope you like the new one.

And good luck with that plan! It looks great and I think I might try it this month as well.

YAY! I'm so glad you're going to try the new doctor. I haven't been to her lately because I couldn't get in to see her when I wanted to, (I was a little impatient at the time!) so I tried someone else I did NOT like at ALL over at Central Baptist where I could get in right away...he wouldn't really listen to me, made me feel like he was in a hurry, but he had no prob at all writing me my Clomid prescription which was good. However, when I get pregnant, I am definitely going back to my original doctor!! I can't wait to hear how it goes!!!!

Sorry to hear about the neg. blood test- but it's GREAT news that you have decided to go with another doctor and that a fellow Sk'er has referred you (so you have a little bit of an idea of the doc) AND just over the phone you feel at ease with them already!!! Yay!!! I hope that things get straighted out for you as quickly as possible from this point on.
