2ww... yet again
Well, you can add me to the list! lol
I'm currently 8 DPO on a regular 30 day cycle. This is our 6th cycle TTC my 2nd child, his 1st.
We're trying to stay positive... but I have to admit, last cycle was the first time I broke down and cried when AF reared her ugly head. (In my defense, I was 2 days late and I'm never late...) Anyway, here's to another 7 days of agony... lol
I'm new to the board so I'm looking forward to meeting some of the special women who post here and making friends. Good luck to all of you!

Re: 2ww... yet again
Oh, just for those of you who are actually interested, here are my symptoms so far... (Please don't be rude and post things like "YOU CANT HAVE SYMPTOMS" I'm not saying they are definitive pregnancy signs, I'm saying these are the things I have noticed / can't help but notice during my 2ww... I will mark symptoms that are NEW to this cycle (and have not occurred during the last 5 cycles with a *. Thanks!! BTW, we used egg whites this cycle for the 1st time and i got a RAGING infection. I don't recommend it. Akk!
1 DPO - Slightly achy, *feeling more "wet" than usual, maybe from the egg whites? *Frequent urination (every 30 mins or so).
2 DPO - *Woke up with horrendous cramps and a fever, *stabbing pains in my abdomen and pelvis, *lower back pain so bad I can barely stand up, *severely dehydrated. - Definitely have a UTI. *Frequent urination.
3 DPO - *Fever of over 100 degrees... *Extremely bad abdominal stabbing / shooting pains, started antibiotics for the UTI, feeling very sleepy, and *GROUCHY. *Frequent urination
4 DPO - Fatigue, Fever is gone (thankfully), *increased CM, *Big glob of EWCM (Ok, I never ever get any EWCM - NONE. I get watery CM for a couple days a month, but thats it. I sat in the bathroom dumbfounded watching this stuff stretch over 4" and was like ?!? lol) In the afternoon I developed what I thought was a *really bad yeast infection but I only had the external itching part - couldn't stop scratching (now that's ladylike), *CM is all over the place - super wet one minute and dry as a bone the next. *Insomnia - up till 4am Ugh... *Frequent urination.
5 DPO - Fatigue, short bouts of nausea, *Insomnia - Up till 3am and I find that I can only sleep on the downstairs couch, yeast infection symptoms mysteriously disappeared... *Frequent urination
6 DPO - Fatigue, *Insomnia - till 3 am, *CM keeps changing from wet to dry and back again, *abdominal sharp pains / *shooting pains / twinges. *Frequent urination in the afternoon. *Crying and screaming and smiling all at the same time - now THAT was an interesting emotion.
7 DPO - Slight nausea in am, *sharp abdominal pains in the afternoon, cramping in the evening. Frequent urination has stopped (THANK YOU!) lol
8 DPO - Feeling good today. No cramping / abdominal pain, *CM is still all over the place super wet or super dry from one minute to the next, *my fingernails are suddenly a WHOLE LOT stronger than usual... super strange since they normally break and peel apart at the slightest pressure, I can now use them to open our bedroom door when its locked! Heh.
Anyway, that's the 2ww for me so far. FUN! lol Here's hoping the next 7 days are less eventful.

Re: 2ww... yet again
Oh yeah, yesterday (7 DPO) went on a MAJOR cleaning spree from 8am - 5pm, then started cooking... Probably not a pg symptom, but definitely unusual for me... lol

Re: 2ww... yet again
Hrm... Interesting question. Well, the 1st month we were TTC I probably dropped 60 dollars on pee sticks. lol So, for the next 4 months I just waiting for AF to show. Last month she was 2 days late and I still managed not to test until she reared her ugly head (at which point I of course POAS and it was negative, I figured if I had an early MC I wanted to know. Of course it was -. I became convinced on 5 DPO that I was preggers this cycle and thought since my last period was shorter and lighter than usual maybe I really was preggers from last cycle, so I stupidly tested on 5 DPO this cycle. BFN. Of course. lol
Since then I have been avoiding the two CVS Early Result tests that are lurking in my cabinet like the plague.
If I could make it to CD 30 (14 DPO) and wait to see if AF shows, that would be ideal. I hate wasting money on disappointment. But, the absolute earliest I will allow myself to test again is 12 DPO. Sooo... who knows. lol
Thanks for the words of encouragement. This cycle has reeked havoc on my mind and my emotional state. Can't be sure whether everything can be attributed to antibiotics or stress or UTI or what. Hate that. Anyway, what's your story? How long have you been TTC? Any kids? Any known fertility issues?

Re: 2ww... yet again
Hehe, thanks. To be honest, we weren't really TTC. My fiance and I live 2600 miles apart (at least until next week), so we figured if we caught an egg on one of the short visits we were able to squeeze out over the last year, great. If not, we'd be actively TTC as soon as we were together. I spent 3 weeks with him this cycle and it stuck. I didn't temp, so I have no clue what day I O'd. I bought a 3 pack of FRER Wednesday night and Thursday morning the was there. I tested this morning just to make sure, and yep, I'm still pregnant.
Someone was saying 12dpo was the magic number and most people got their after that. I couldn't wait until 14dpo, even though I told myself I would.
And looking at your symptoms, I had alot of the same. I even convinced myself at one point that there was no way I was pg due to my cervix "feeling" open. Ha! Good thing I'm not a doctor.
Good luck on your testing, and of course you need to post pics of your tests, so we can obsess over them.

Re: 2ww... yet again
LOL You're too cute! My first was a suprise and I wasn't keeping track of my cycles or anything so I don't even know if I was late by the time I tested, but I DO remember taking test after test, day after day just to "make sure I was still pregnant" lol Like I was dreaming it before or something. Hehe
You're very lucky you were able to conceive on a visit!! Is this your first attempt at getting preggers? (I'm assuming the 2 older children are his?)
