In the 2WW

Hello all- Well, I had my 4th iui today, so I am in the 2ww. We almost missed the appointment. I woke up early and got myself ready, then got DH a cup of coffee (it is good for the swimmers, I am so jealous!) I then gave him all of his supplies (cup and solution for processing) and he SPILLED the solution, so at 7am I was calling the doctor crying because I didn't know if they would still take us without having the sperm washed and ready to go. They said I could still come, and they would have to process the sample and get it ready and it would take about 1 hour longer than usual. I was so upset with him- then I asked him if he would come with me and he said he didn't want to. I always joke that he is my doner b/c of the unconventional way we have resorted to TTC, but this time- I really feel like that is all he was. He called me and apologized and felt really bad for messing everything up this morning. I know it was an accident, but I was so mad at him- now I feel bad too~

On the plus side- the sample was perfect, even though it was a big headache getting it there, and the follicle was 23.5mm- that is the best we have ever been~

Well- they said I can test on 10/2......

Let the wait begin~

I'm so sorry you had so much trauma leading up to the IUI.

Are you temping or charting online in anyway? Would love to obsess in the 2WW with you! Good luck!

Thanks~ When I went to the RE in May, I had been charting and temping for over a year and he kinda laughed it off and said that there was no accuracy in it. But, I am starting to disagree b/c from the work I did on my own, I decided that I was ovulating around day 20 leaving a LP of 8 days. He confirmed everything I had found, but told me temping and charting was not necessary, the meds would do the trick.

If I were to start temping again- just for the 2ww this time- what would I be looking for?

During the 2ww, look for temps that just consistantly get higher (occasional lower ones may occur, but an overall climb), around 7-10dpiui, you may see a temp drop, followed by an even bigger temp climb to suggest implantation. Good luck!!
