I took prescribed clomid on my cycle days 1-5. My period came May 30th thru June 3rd. When should I have started testing for ovulation? I tested on June 8th and got a positive ovulation test June 8th, 9th, 10th. The 11th was negative, then I tested again on the 12th just to make sure and The lines were the same color again except the result line was skinnier than the control line. I used the first response test. Can someone give advise?

I was on clomid from June 4th till the 8th. I am now on day 13 and should ovulate tomorrow. I don't know if the clomid changes your ovulation around or not. I had my 1st IUI done today and I really don't need a late ovulation because I have to use my husbands frozen sperm while he's away and I only have one vial left to use.

So, it looks like to me you tested during your peek ov time. It was right on the money. I believe the test show you when your LH is high or when your are within 12 to 24 hours until actual ovulation time.
