Icon14 Used the OV Watch

Hi! Kinda new to all of this so bare with me please.
Anyway I just wanted to give my two cents into the OVWatch. I used it and had success!

I TTC for over 2 years before I finally conceived. I have to use Clomid (100mg. is what works best for me) to get me to even ovulate. I also had a friend tell me about an ovulation watch. I thought there was no way that some watch was going to help me get pregnant. Afterall, I was doing BBT, using pee sticks, reading my mucas, anyway I had an entire calander devoted to all of these notes.

The first month my specialist increased my Clomid to 100mg. I also used the OVWatch. We had sex only on the day it read Ovulation Day 1. I conceived that day. I was still using those pee stick and didn't receive a pos result from it until 4 days later. Hello too late by then. My son just turned 1 in May.

I pulled out my watch again and my doctor put me on 100mg. of Clomid. This time I conceived on the second month of using both the watch and clomid. We again had sex only on Ovulation day 1, twice that day. I got a pos pee stick result 3 days later. Again, too late. I am now 13 weeks pregnant.

It's really kinda cool. I just wore it at night and read what it said in the morning, took it off, and planned my day. It reads like this...
Not fertile
Fertile day 1,2,3,4
Ovulating day 1, 2
Less fertile
Not fertile

It's rather expensive but I compared it to other monitors and the cost of those pee sticks every month (had to buy enough for an entire month becuase I never was close on dates so I had no idea when it was going to happen) and it made sense to go with the OVWatch. And hey if it works for you on the first or second time it's that like gold compared to the hearache you get every time you get your period????!!!!

They have a website. Check them out.

Wishing everyone that God bless you soon with a baby.

Hi,

I'm glad I just read your post because I was looking into purchasing this. I just received a BFN today on my 1st Frozen Embryo transfer and will not be able to afford another fresh cycle of IVF at the moment. So we will be trying the old fashioned way, bd'ing!! for a few months.

I've read all the success stories on their website and alot of women had success on their first month of using it. And now hearing your success story wants me to get this OVwatch that much sooner.

I just want something easy, no pee sticks, no charting and temperature taking and all that other bullsh*t, just something EASY!!

And also alot of the women on the success stories said the same thing you did, that the pee sticks weren't even showing positive for days after the OVwatch was, so interesting how this works. So many women thinking that they were ovualting on a certain day like mid cycle, alot of them were so surprised to see that they actually ovulated sooner.

Can't wait to get this watch and get started, I know you posted this a while ago but I'm gald I saw this today.

Karen

Hey Karen....I just bought the watch last night. i am so excited. I won't be using it this cycle, it's too late for that, but I think I'm going to start on the next one. Let me know if you get yours and how it works for you, and I'll do the same.

Hi,

I ended up buying the Clearplan Easy Fertility Monitor instead. The only reason is because the phone number on the website was no longer in service, so I didn't trust ordering it online. I hope it works out for you, goodluck.
