I was due to O on about July 24, and we dtd every night except the 24th, long story. On the 22 and 23 I noticed the milky cm so I knew I'd be O'ing soon, but then on the 24th and I never had any EWCM, or any days after. Is is possible that implantation occurred and that's why there was no EWCM? I am really hoping to join you ladies, so we will see I still can't test for 5 more day.

EWCM should happen before you ovulate. After your period, your estrogen should start to increase along with LH. The estrogen is what causes the EWCM. Some of us don't ever get EWCM, just water, which is still fertile. Your CM should go from dry or sticky, to creamy (like lotion), to watery to eggwhite. Once you Ovulate, it should dry up though it is possible to get patches of EWCM after O, it just won't be fertile at that time since you've already O'd. Does that make any sense?

Funny was just talking about this the other day.Every month i track ewcm and i always see it. The month i didnt see any and thought hmm thats odd maybe i didnt O.I indeed did get pg.Ended in mc but did get pg.Good luck

Yep, EWCM, if you get it, will be abundant before O and dries up after O. But no, you don't have to have EWCM in order to get PG...it just helps the spermies along to give more of a chance to get PG.
