In short, yes, or at least, you can have what is called "inadequate ovulation." That means you O, but it isn't a very good or mature egg - it isn't an egg that is good enough to get fertilized and implant. Unfortunately, that happens to me all too often. The doctors can tell that either by checking follicle size before O, or by checking progesterone levels post-O.
