Default Ovulation Questions~HELP!

Not sure where to start...Had one night of drunken fun and didn't realize that I was probably O'ing...I checked the on-line ovulation calendar and I O'd the weekend that I without protection. My cycles are on time every month, every 28 days. I'm not due to get it until next weekend so technically, I'm in the 2WW. Here's my symptoms and I know that they can be confused with PMS...I have sore bbs, cramps, and I have an excessive amount of cervical fluids~to the point that I wear a liner. I don't remember that with my son, but I do remember that with my daughter. I have cravings and am just trying to tell myself that because I'm stressed about being pregnant that it's all in my head. I've googled excessive cervical fluids a million times but have come up with nothing. So, for those of you in the 2WW, are you having an excessive amount or is it possible that I'm still O'ing? It started about a week ago and I can't believe that I'm still O'ing...The ovulation calendar says that I should have O'd between 8/15-8/24??? That doesn't make sense to me, isn't that kind of a long time to be O'ing? Anyway, the reason I'm freaking out is because we were done with two and my dh DID NOT want a third. Having a third baby would thrill me to death ONLY if my dh wanted another. He'll get over it and things will be fine if I am pregnant, but of course I have noone to talk to about it until I can confirm whether I am or not. I'm due to get my period on 9/2 and have been trying not to think about it, but it's constantly on my mind. I just remember having a lot of fluids before I found out I was pregnant the last time...

Well, thanks if you have gotten this far! I appreciate any comments or advice, etc that you have!

Default Re: Ovulation Questions~HELP!

First off, I hope you get an answer soon, and that it is the resolution you want.

Second, the "online ovulation calculators" can't tell you when you O'd - they give you a range of dates when it is most likely you are fertile/O'd based on the date of your last menstrual period and your cycle length. For a 28 day cycle, assuming you O at the normal time (and not everyone does), you would O around CD 14. That means you are fertile a few days before that as well as after (somewhere between CD 9 at the earliest and then maybe up to CD15). Now, some people O a bit later (like CD 15 or 16 - or some even later) on a 28 day cy (and others will O even earlier). So, that is probably why you got the range of dates. Do you know when you normally O, or how long your LP usually is? You could narrow down the dates a bit that way. Either way, it is probably a waiting game. If you are sure about your AF date, you could probably test soon to find out, or just wait and see if you are late and then test. GL!
