Hello,

I was wondering if anyone could help me...My last cycle before the cycle I am currently in lasted 35 days...my last period was August 13. It seemed like I was ovulating already on cd 12 as I had some cm through cd 14. I thought it was odd that I would have ovulated so early since my last cycle was kind of long. But I assumed I did. And I was glad that we had been dtd a couple days before and during that time. Then on Saturday, (Sept. 3, cd 21) it seemed like I could have ovulated then too. The last time we had dtd before Sept. 3 was 3 days earlier and then right away on the 3rd hoping I could still catch the egg if it was ovulation. Anyone else ovulate late in their cycle? When do you think was the real ovulation?? I don't feel pregnant at all right now, so I'm kind of down. Any input would be appreciated.

Hi - My cycles are around 34-35 days usually and I used an OPK this time and looks like I ovulated around CD21. SO - I think you are probably right, if your cycle is longer than later date was probably your O. It makes sense because the time between when you O and start AF is usually around 14 days (although it can definitely be shorter or longer for people). I think you still have a great chance if you did it a few days before and then the day of!! Good luck! Plus, considering your later ovulation you wouldn't feel pregnant yet. Coincidentally, I think our cycles are right around the same time - I am just a few days later than you. I think I officially started my 2ww yesterday. Baby dust your way!!

Oh thank you so much...I was starting to think the same thing. I hope I caught the egg. Good luck to you! I hope we both get a bfp!! I guess you'll be due in May right? That's when I would be due too.

Yep - according to my LMP my due date would be May 24th. However, with a longer cycle, I guess it could technically be pushed to early June. Now we just have to wait two weeks to find out!!! That's the tough part... but I try to just have fun with it. We'll see. This is just our second month of officially trying, so I'm not going to let myself get too stressed or anything yet. Keep me posted on how you do too!
