Icon5 ovulation, pregnancy or Pms?

Hi Everyone,
I have always had irregular periods, for example one cycle could be 44 days another 96 days. I have been on Metformin for a few months which is supposed to regulate my cycle. We have a son and know we can conceive we just don't know when I actually ovulate.
Anyway, My husband and I literally have BMS every other day hoping that when an egg decides to drop we will have his little swimmers waiting. I had a period 4-21-06 and like I said we have been diligent with BMS. If I were a regular 28 day cycle I would have had my MOST fertile days from May 2-5. I have had cm from May 2nd - today. Since I am so irregular I am not really sure if or when I ovulated. Starting on May 10th I have been feeling very tired, gassy, and felt some twinges in my abdomen. Today May 12th I feel all of those same symptoms plus cramps. I also feel achy, bloated like I would be getting my period tomorrow, which would be too early even if I were a regular 28 day cycle. My question is since I am not positive about the cm but have had it on and off from the 2nd - today....do you think I ovulated and could be feeling symptoms of pregnancy by now or do you think these could be symptoms of ovulation or do you think I could be symptomatic of getting my peiod this early? Thanks for any help you can give me.

Some people also feel twinges and such when they are ovulating... maybe that's what your body is doing? Early pregnancy syptoms and period's coming signs are so much alike, the only way to figure which one's which most of the time is to take a test. Good luck, and let us know what happens!
