Default OPK question after childbirth.

Hi ladies!

OK, I am 52 days pp with my daughter, she is breastfeeding but we do use a paci and she settles through the night so I started doing opk's and cp checking.

I had ewcm on the 5th Oct and decided to start the opk's and chart on the 12th, (I'm interested in seeing what is happning with my body). Each opk I have done since then has had nothing on the test line, not even a int of a line, nada. Now before I got pg I always had something no matter how feint.

My question is, I know you can ovulate whilst breastfeeding and ovulating requires LH, is it normal to have no LH though for a while?

Thank-you

Chell x

Default Re: OPK question after childbirth.

55 days post delivery and breastfeeding will reduce your fsh to a level that wont produce ovulation .... the breast feeding alone represses FSH and LH as well as lower progesterone levels and higher estrogen ... so it is just gonna take a little time .. if you are ttc while breast feeding it can be tricky talk to your ob ...
