i have a ovulation question for all you ladies....

i had a u/s that showed 3 follies on my left overy! 16.9mm, 32.9mm, and 19.3mm. im on 150mg of clomid so they gave me a hcg trigger shot. so heres my question....what are the chance of more then one egg releasing on the same overy? oh and due to the trigger shot when do you think i can start testing?

well ff shows that i o'd on cd 17 the day of the trigger. i go in july 7 for a p4 and if its 20+ i will test july 15!

Good luck! I know with the shot you have to wait so many days or yuo'll get a false +. (Not sure how many, though.)

Hey Tai

I had 10 mature follicles and my doc refused to trigger them so I had to wait and naturally ovulate. It was so painful. I don't know how many I released but I'm sure it was more than one. So my bet for you is you most likely released all or a least 2.

Did you feel any pain? Everyone is different. I was on 100mg clomid for 5 days (2-6). I ovulate just fine the doc just wanted to try and get me to produce more eggs to get a better chance of fertilizing one that may go to full term. I don't think they anticipated the outcome.

And from what I ready you basically have to give yourself 14 days after shot to get a clear pic of your levels.

thanks for your responses! i had lots of pain the day before the day of and the day after. i really hope i did o! the last few times i got a trigger my p4 was really low but the cy i didnt get the trigger it was high.

Hey Tai

I'm jumping back on here to tell you my new stats. I just started spotting which really surprised me since I ovulated on cd 16. Normally I ovulate on cd14. I normally start my cycle 14 days after ovulation. I never spot or anything prior to it. So I thought my cycle length would go to 30 days to compensate for the late ovulation. Guess I was wrong. My LP for this month as a result was 12.

Also, I took a progesterone test at 9dpo. I'll know what it is some time at the end of the week. I'll let you know what it is.

I won't be ttc this month but I'll be back in August.

I've got my fingers crossed that you'll be pregnant by then so here's tons of Baby Dust your way.

I was hoping but it turned into light bleeding so I'm counting it as AF. The good thing is I'm not having any horrible cramps like I normally do.

It'll be nice to see how my body recovers this month after being on Clomid in June. Hopefully it goes back to a 14 day FP(Follicle Phase) and LP.
