Default Has anyone used those cheap 20 packs of tests?

The strips that come in the little vial? I forget what brand i have, i think it's answer though? A pink box.
Anyhow, I am pretty sure I'm o'ing today (judging by CM) and yet the test is still saying negative. There is jsut the one line that's the controll line and even that is super faint. I dont get it. I've used the other kind of tests (the nice ones that give results fast and come in either a 5 or 7 pack) with no problem. These just seem to be a waste. and they're a pain too!!! you have to wait 5 minutes to read results, and you have to dip the strips in a cup and it's all alot more work than the others (Won't be getting these again)..
Just wondering what other's experiences are.

I don't know what brand you're using but they sound similar to the internet cheapies. I never got a very dark positive on the internet cheapies. I switched to Dollar Tree OPK's and First Response and have had much more success with them. I hope you get a good + soon!

I tried them before. They are the Answer Daily Ovulation Tracker. I did not like them for the same reasons that you don't. Never a true positive.

Huh, that would explain alot. I've been using some internet cheepies too. I've gotten a super SUPER faint positive, but never a positive line that is as dark or darker then the control line like the instructions say it should be. I just keep waiting for it. I'm on CD 18. When I'm done with these I will have to try the dollar tree or something else. Good luck to all you ladies.

Hi! My Name Is Cheryl. I Have Never Posted On This Board Before But I Lurk Quite A Bit. I Have Had The Same Problem With Answer Daily Ovulation Tracker! I Thought That I Was Doing Something Wrong Because I Would Never Get A True Positive. I Switched Back To The Walmart Brand With 7 Tests.

Hi there, I have just purchase internet cheapies called Ovunow? Are these any of the kinds you girls are talking of? Just wondering whether I should stock up on some of the more well known brands as well rather than waste a month if they are shonky tests!!!!

Hi, I've used the same internet 20 pack of cheapies too and never got a dark line like the instructions said. I knew (after the fact) that I had ovulated as I get strong cramp-like symptoms, but the strips never showed the LH "surge" like they said they would. I guess you get what you pay for huh. I've heard from others too (and from this post), that those cheapies never produce a dark line like they are supposed to. Frustrating when you're hoping to see that surge.
