Icon5 FM peak, but no thermal shift,

I was wondering if any of you gals might give me some info. For the first time in months, I finally saw a peak on my fm. The only thing is I havent seen a temp rise, its slowly climbing now, so maybe I'm a slow riser, I'm not sure.
If I peaked sat. morning, and you ovulate 12-24 after a surge, when should I see a thermal shift? Should I have seen it already?? Thanks for any help,

Misty

I think you see the thermal shift after O not after peak. Peak tells you you are getting ready to O then you o then your temp rises...HTH

Default Re: FM peak, but no thermal shift,

thats correct .. usually after the second peak day on your monitor you will see the temp spike .. if you continue to not rise above coverline 2-3 days post peak it can mean a few things... primarily if your monitor shows peak it means your FSH and LH are fine and in the right levels to trigger the monitor if the temps are slow and sluggish on the way up it can mean a low progesterone or prolactin level .. and if thats the case show your ob your charts after 3 months and disscuss a cd21 blood draw to test your levels to see if it is substantial enough to support a pregnancy . your body requires a minimum to prevent miscarriage . You may need to take progesterone suppositories until 12-14 weeks of pregnancy until the placenta can sustain itself ... keep an eye and remember to chart correctly ... hang in there .. its a very fixable problem! smiles xoxoxox Jess
