Icon5 Dumb Question...

I have a really dumb question to ask, lol.

How long after your cycle starts do you ovulate? I am trying to chart and I'm a little confused.

Thank you in advance for any advice you give!

Default Re: Dumb Question...

Everyone is different. It is to hard to say. Generaly in the middle of your cylce. Which starts on the day you start your period and ends the day before you started to bled again. My best suggestion to you would be to start taking your temp with a Basal Body thermometer every morning before getting out of your bed and then record it. Your temp will dip sometime in mid cycle and then rise and stay higher until your period comes. There is contraversy whether you ovulate on the dip or the sharp rise. After a few cycles you should have it nailed down if your lucky and regular. There is so much info on line about this. I would Google search it and READ READ READ. Good luck mama. I think I read early some where you wanted another girl. So you need to figure out when you O and do it 2-3 day before and then stop. Read up on the Shettles method. I haven't tried it yet but will be soon for a boy. Out of all the things I have read it makes the most since to me.
