Default Changes in O symptoms?

I hope it's ok if I post this question here. I don't know where else I would ask.
Dh and I are not TTC but not being totally careful. Since the birth of my twins 2.5 yrs ago I have been able to tell about the time I O- I usually get sore breasts. AF is very predictable and always has been. Well, it's past time for me to O and I didn't feel any sorness. I don't know what's going on here. LMP around 9/5 and I know we DTD very unsafely on the 15th. Would this mean I didn't O this month? Thanks for reading and sorry if I posted this in the wrong place. I'll admit...I know nothing about ovulation!

Default Re: Changes in O symptoms?

It could be that you did O but your hormone balance is different this cycle. It's the trouble with our bodies. Just when we get used to it all being a certain way, everything could suddenly change. So, we could expect a certain sign but never actually get it. I know it's not what you want to hear, but it's a possibility.

Of course, it could be that you did not O but without charting, it's impossible to tell. And it could be that you O'd much later (or even earlier) than usual.

We're told that we O 14 days after our periods start or that we should count back from when our period starts 14 days to figure out when we O'd which is just a bunch of poop. So many of us O far earlier than CD14, or far later, or have luteal phase issues that change all that.

I recommend the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility". It's a great book that can tell you more about your body than you would have ever thought possible.

I hope this answers at least some of your questions!
