Just checking in to let y'all know that I am still VERY much pg.

My docs are trying to convince me to induce but I am sooo not interested in getting pitocin and throwing-up the whole time I am in labor. Yesterday my doc wanted to break my water but I said "No," since she couldn't say for sure that I wouldn't need pitocin to get things moving afterwards....sigh. Had an u/s last week and at that point the baby was 7 1/2 lbs (or so they "guess-timated"). I am scheduled for an NST on Thursday. They said they will not let me go past next Wed. no matter what.

I feel like such a whiner since technically my EDD is not even until tomorrow but since my first two were both two weeks early and everyone - including my docs- were convinced this baby would also arrive at 38 weeks - I feel like I am already 2 weeks overdue. I am still 3cm dialated, 50% effaced -- but have made no further progress in over a week.

Anyway, no sign of impending labor. I'll keep y'all posted.
