Trying to get psyched for another cycle.

I'm trying to get myself psyched up for another cycle of TTCing. Anyone else out ther looking for a cycle buddy?

Last two times I got pregnant, I found out on my birthday (July 10th). I was hoping for a third time but I guess not, since I'm now cycle day 5.

Not only that, I've just realized that my most likely ovulation date is for the 15th, which is the same day my DH is doing a huge bike ride from Seattle to Portland. So on the 14th I will already be in Portland with my Mom, on the 15th he will definately not be up for any TTCing activity and on the 16th we will still be at my Mom's which is not exactly conducive for

KWIM.

As I'm tying this I'm having a brainstorm. Get a reservation at nice romantic hotel for Sunday night while Grandma gets to spend quality time with Aileen. Sure it may be pricey, but whats $100 for a hotel compared to $1000+ for fertility drugs?

Hi JNSBEAN - I'll be your cycle buddy if you want. I'm on day 6... when AF showed up I really wasn't expecting it but here I am with one last chance. DH leaving soon for deployment... Peak day will probably be day 14 according to Fertility Monitor going to do my best to eliminate all milk drinking from now till then and just praying for a miracle right now.

I got the hotel room!! It's going to be weird, I haven't been away from Aileen overnight since she was born. Ok now for some serious

time with DH. Haven't done that in a while either!

Yay on the room and date!

I think af will arrive this weekend. I'm going my best to encourage her.

If the timing works for an ivf cycle it'd be August for retrieval etc. So until then I wouldn't be cycling.

Thanks Cheryl! I guess I'd better update my siggy with my new age! Ughh. I'm not sure that temp drop was for real. I think I dozed off while taking my temperature. It was 97.5 this morning.

So this is cd14 and I got the peak sign on the fertility monitor so waiting tonight to bd hopefully w/o interruptions. I have preseed hoping this make the difference for a bfp and drinking water to stay hydrated I don't know anything to help the sperm out. I hope everything works out for you Jilda as well. Soon I will be joining the 2ww and hope at the end of it I will see a bfp for a change.
