Default Sorry chart lurkers no chart from me..

I'm taking a break this cycle so that's why my chart hasn't been updated. Just been kind of hectic lately and feeling frustrated over last cycles 10 day LP. (which is unusally short for me) DH and I have decided that we will try for 2 more cycles on our own and then off to the RE. Last time we tried for 22 cycles on our own, 2 cycles with medication only and ended up getting pregnant on our first medicated IUI, so maybe there is some reason we need the help. No sense continually . Still it would be nice to do it on our own.

Jilda - just wanted to send a HUG to you and wish you luck this cycle that you don't have to go thru what you did last time - It is good that you are setting a limit of the frustration and then getting help. Hopefully you won't need it!?!?!?!?

My chart didn't do much of anything this month at all....my temps look horrible and not peak other then at cd9 (wtf?) and I got +opks last nite and this morning...so what does that tell ya? Maybe my battery in my thermometer is going??? *L

Hang in there mama! It's gonna happen for us, right?

Jilda, I have lowered my expectations so I can only be thrilled if I see a chart from you.

As far as the RE is concerned, were you on clomid before? I ask b/c it seems that soy can be used as a natural alternative to clomid. You could try it these next two cycles, if you're so inclined. The pregnancy ticker is my little data point that it works!

Well I could toss some numbers into FF so you can be thrilled again! So what if the numbers are just made up? I'll just do an Enron on them.

I did not do clomid, I did Bravelle. I actually did 3 cycles with Bravelle, the first two were with timed and the last one was with the IUI, so maybe its the IUI that we need. My RE wasn't a big fan of Clomid especially for women over 35 so I skipped it.

I'm a little nervous about the soy since I've had a history of breast cancer so some places recommended avoiding soy. Others don't think it is really a problem. How does the soy work anyways? Is it supposed to be an anti-estrogen like clomid? I thought it could substitute for estrogen (which would make it more risky for me to take.) Maybe I should try medline.

So what did you do, just eat a lot of soy? That could be a problem, I'm not a big soy fan, except for soy sauce and ing soy sauce is kind of .

Of couse I'm rethinking it today since I just found out that if we do go to the RE insurance will cover NOTHING! I'm pissed because for 2005, the one year DH was working for this small startup, we did have some fertility insurance coverage with two different insurance companies. (Naturally that was when I had Aileen so I wasn't really thinking about fertility treatments!) So now that he's working for a larger company they don't cover jack.

Okay that's my for today.

You make my chart stalking days suffer Jilda.

I wish that there was some magical words to make it all happen. All I can offer is a shoulder to lean on.
