Silly Question?
Hey there!
My question is..... how come opk's shouldnt use FMU, but FM DO want FMU?
I am confused....
My fmu is at 6am. And I have read that this isnt an ideal time to measure LH.
Any ideas?

Re: Silly Question?
I just read this somewhere, but can't remember the details. Maybe you can find it here. http://peeonastick.com/
BTW, they have a cool Pee catcher(cup) at the site. I couldn't help but think of you with pee in the fridge.

Where did I come from?" the baby asked its mother. She answered, half-crying, half-laughing, and clasping the baby to her breast: "You were hidden in my heart as its desire, my darling. You were in the dolls of all my childhood games. In all my hopes and my loves, in my life, in the life of my mother, and in her mother before her, you have lived."

Re: Silly Question?
No one has ever answered that for me. Perhaps it's the sensitivity. I prefer fm sticks over opks anyway.

Re: Silly Question?
I could be wrong, but I think it is because the FM sticks pick up Estrogen aswell as LH and OPK's only pick up LH.
As the LH gets closer to surging, the Estrogen is not as strong and with the FM sticks the 2 blue lines slowly change as u get closer to the LH surge.
Usually the blue line on the left is really blue and the line on the right is faint, as the days pass and u eventually get ur 'peak', u will notice that the left blue line is now faint and the right blue line is really dark, u can check out the pics in the sticky thread 'FM & OPK FAQ', check it out.
I hope this has helped

Re: Silly Question?
ok
im crazy
BUT I HAD to do it. After Is aw some pics that showed the fm sticks, and that you COULd read them with your own eyes as opposed to the FM.. I HAD to poas this afternoon. It showed a surge. The LH line was really dark, whereas the other ones have only dark estrogen lines and barely at all visible LH lines... does this mean that when i put my stick in the FM in the morning, I MAY have my surge?

Re: Silly Question?
Of course, it was no longer fmu, it was afternoon urine, so the estrogen line was lighter, but the LH line was dark. Very visible, and until this afternoon, there had been no visible LH line at all really, just ever-so-faint if you REALLY looked hard.
Yay
I really hope I get that peak tomorrow morning!
