Default Question about peak

I am not temping at all so I don't know for positive and thought maybe someone here could help. I was assuming that since I got a peak on my monitor yesterday and also today that I will o today. Then I read in another post that you will always get peak on a second day. Without temping is there any way to know for sure if I o'ed yesterday or today?

Did you have sex on ALL days of high up to AND including the peak day? That's the best way when using the fertility monitor to increase your odds of pregnancy. The peak detects the surge and predicts ovulation within 24 hours of showing peak. Remember that sperm can live in the woman's body for several days.

We dtd on cd 7, 9, 13, and early morning on 16. We were purposely not dtd closer to O because we are ttc a girl. Although I do realize that dtd on day 16 may have ruined that.

There's really a range. It could be 12-48 hours. It can vary. I've seen rises on first peaks and second peaks.

Temping is the best way to know if you probably O'd. Unless you feel O, there isn't a way to know right now.
