Hello. It is the 14th of December. The first day of my last period was November 26th and the last day was December 2nd. I've been using ovulation tests at the same of the day for the last week. It has been negative until today. This morning my husband and I had unprotected sex and shortly afterwards I took a test and the test line was as dark if not darker than the control line and I believed I was ovulating. Several hours after that test, and after we'd had sex, I took another one and this one came back negative. Could this possibly mean that fertilization occurred from our attempts this morning?

Your egg releases anywhere from 12-24 or so hours after a positive test. I would continue to bd for at least two more days.
