Default Question about Fertility Monitor

Okay I have had my CBFM since Oct or Nov last year....so it is "used" to me by now...but I went from five days of low to a peak today..... that has never happened. I have never skiped high. Has anyone else had this happen?? I just don't know what to think. My DH won't be back in town till tomorrow, I was hoping that we could catch this egg, but I don't know at this point.

Why would I skip high??? Does anyone know??

Thank you in advance for your help!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Default Re: Question about Fertility Monitor

I'm not sure why it'd skip. The only think I can think of is that it detected x amount of darkness on the stick so it did what it did. Last cycle it only gave me 1 peak. I thought that was odd since 2 is normal.

My fm sat for over a year and I didn't reset it. I was surprised it was as accurate as it was.

Sometimes, it just happens. Your hormones vary slightly from month to month, and maybe this month, your surge was a little more sudden than in previous months. Who knows, you still might not O for 2-3 days. In the nearly 2 years that I used my monitor, it actually missed my peak twice. I know that I O'd, because I was BBT charting, but apparently, my hormones didn't surge quite as strong those months...HTH
