I like First Response. When I first started TTC I bought some internet cheapies and I dislike those. I've seen evap lines that look like the real thing on them. And I don't care for their opks either.

I also liked the Clear Blue digital. Digitals are nice, but don't take them apart to look for a second line.

I'm not a frequent tester, so I didn't mind paying a little more for tests. I'd rather avoid lines that don't belong.

I'm not sure which brand detects the lowest amounts. I know there is a link somewhere around the boards that lists that info.

Good luck!

There was one brand of internet cheapies that I didn't like, but these were great. There were never any evaporation lines, and the first time I thought I saw something that could have been an evaporation line (at about 8dpo), it kept getting darker and darker -- I was pregnant. I had a definite positive with them two days before First Response picked it up.

I also liked the blue dye +/- test that I bought from Walmart -- they were made by Inverness, I believe.

Here's a website that gives some comparisons.

Wishing you lots of babydust!
