Icon5 OPK created equally??

Do you think it matters what brand you really buy??

I'm new to OPK's so this will be my first month. I'm pretty sure AF is a day or two away so I want to be prepared for when its time to test. I was planning to order some over the net to get them cheaper. But I know some people prefer the name brands vs. the cheaper. And I have found out that most pg tests still give me a big BFN no matter what brand. Just wondering if OPK's are pretty much the same.

I found out the other day at my follow-up visit with my Ob/Gyn that we have been doing it at the totally wrong time. I'm pretty sure I know when I am ovulating now and plan to have my bases covered totally. But the Dr wants me to OPK just to make sure.

Hi Ranee and to our board.................My name is Di and I am one of the hosts here at TTC with FM/OPK.

I dont think it matters which brand of OPK u choose to use, I am sure that they would all work as well as each other. I have heard that the name brands r better, giving a clearer result.

I have used IC OPK's and find them to be ok, but do agree that the brand name OPK's (Answer, Frer) give a darker test line than the IC's.

I rely more heavily on my CBEFM, as I find they r much easier to interpret than just the OPK's, as they give u that picture of the little egg .

Anyho, and I hope that u catch that egg .

Babydust to u..........

I've used internet cheapies and they didn't work for me. They wouldn't show a peak when one from the store would.

I liked Clear Blue and I think it was First Response opks. I also love my fm. I used the sticks regardless of the fm since I knew what to look for as O was approaching.
