IUD Out
You know what this means girls....GAME ON!!!
Not as bad as I thought it would be. I did take 4 extra strength tylenol before going in. My pap was worse I think....which I had done today. 2 birds w/1 stone ya know. He asked if I wanted to wait to take out the IUD and I was like Y"ou are already in there so why not yank it out!!!".
So this is a new doc, I went w/someone local since my OB that delivered E is about 45 minutes away and I wouldn't get to see him anyway b/c he only sees patients if they are prego and he is at the hospital (PITA to get into and out of). Plus my GYN who I saw for years retired right before I got prego with Evan. Anyway, I liked this new doc although I won't stay w/him once prego b/c I gotta go see my old doc. Which I feel pretty bad about b/c he was so nice and interesting to talk to etc. I love my doc that delivered E and his nurse...I see just them and then he will deliver so no dr rotation etc.
But my whole point in this was since this was an OB/GYN office there were pregos all over the place and I was sitting there thinking that I want another baby so bad and I want to be prego and it just can't happen fast enough. But I know I need to chill out and just let it happen when it's meant to happen.
This doc said to wait until I have 1-2 cycles before TTC...anyone have any experience with an IUD? Also what about
I got a script for prenatals (UGH) and I am going to look up that soy stuff Cheryl talked about as well as some natural estrogen...that will help my lining come back from the IUD...

Re: IUD Out
Good luck, Lindsay!
Don't have any advice on building the lining. I had an IUD out (I did not enjoy mine), but since our issue was really male factor, I don't know how long it might have taken otherwise.

Re: IUD Out
we know what Lindsey is going to be doing ASAP .
No advice hun! Just get your freak on . I know what you mean about wanting to be pregnant. It just seems to me we can't enjoy being in the moment. Remember how we couldn't wait to be not pregnant?

Re: IUD Out
I know...and this time we know what we are getting ourselves into...so why the rush???
I just felt silly sitting in a room full of women with bellies. I wanted one. I was listening to conversations about u/s and glucose tests and wanted so bad to be one of those. Then I was wondering what these women were thinking about me. Why is this woman here...she doesnt' look pregnant. But to be honest they probably didn't think anything of it. Just me being wacky!!!
Oh and this OB did say that he thought I might need clomid to give my cycle a jump start. YIKES...that means I could have more than one baby. OMG....

Re: IUD Out
Those women were probably thinking I feel fat, I can't wait for this to be over, wonder if I gained 20lbs this time, I've got to pee, my back is killing me, I'm thirsty, and more .
Well I took Clomid as well and you can see there's only one Carson. Of course God knew that I could only handle one of him . My little marathon feeder/all nighter. I can't imagine if there had been two YIKES. However, I'd love to see another set of twins on this board, so I'll wish them your way Lindsey. Oh and I wonder why your OB is so quick to already assume you'll need Clomid?
