I went on vacation a couple of weeks ago. Geez! but you know we'd all do it to save our own lives. Wine and Perfume :WOW. It was nice of the other airport to at least give them envelopes to mail their items.
Thank God I'm not flying anywhere anytime soon. I flew a couple of times with Mason and I carried on my breast pump and at least a days worth of EBM with me. I was warned I may have to taste it to prove that's what it was when I passed through security. I never was asked to do it. I wonder what I would have to do now? I'm sure they would make me dump it. Ella is still on frozen breast milk. She's never had formula. That would really suck!
Even water?? That's it I'm not flying anywhere. What about water or juice for kids? I hope those flight attendants are ready to be pestered by people like me who get dehydrated while flying.
Yeah they were allowing them to take formula but what about EBM? I BF Carson on the plane but I did take his sippy cup of water. That would have not been good if I couldn't have taken it.
Yeah I'm sure the flight attendants had to serve more than just half beverages today . I flew NW one time and all they gave me was water in a plastic cup. Soda or bottled water wasn't even an option. It was horrible! You know I don't care if your flight is 20 min or 20 hours when you pay that much for airline tickets you should get more than water in a plastic cup .
Unfortunately this is the sign of the times. Terrorism is not going to go away. If they made security like they had today, EVERY day, then everyone would know what to expect. They shouldn't wait until something major happens then throw everyone into a tailspin. I'm glad my days of flying overseas are done.

Chris flies every week. He always carries on, so he'll have to get a new tube of toothpaste whenever he gets to the hotel. They're going to have to change their beverage policies for certain, b/c you know they have the habit of pushing off and then sitting on the tarmac FOREVER (two weeks ago, DH sat for 4 hours before they cancelled the flight and came back in). I'm really getting annoyed with all of this.
Yeah I forgot that there is some rule forbidding serving anything (food or drink) while the plane is on the ground. I think it had something to do with not wanting airplanes turning into resturants? Honestly make no sense to me.
Sher I absoutely agree it's a sign of the times. Hey pat me down and search me all you want. I think the majority of us are ok with it after 9/11.
However, I'm just saying if we're willing to make some sacrifices here, so should the airlines. Which means better customer service! I mean there was a time where airlines would give you more than a beverage for your flight.

You know it's bad enough for an adult to have to set through that but could you imagine a child. Stuff like this doesn't make any sense to me.
Misty, the woman behind him had a baby. Add to it, they turned off the engines to save fuel (no a/c). Of course the mother had drinks for the poor child. Chris didn't say whether she was fussy, I guess he's sensitive to that issue!
and chapstick too! I heard a quote on the radio the other day and someone mentioned before long we'll be forced to wear only a thong and flip flops to travel on airlines.
