Re: I`m still confused
Well, a few months ago, it is possible that your peak was on CD 15, so the monitor picked it up. Could be CD 16 would have said high, or it could have said peak, but you didn't test that month. On the second day of peak, the LH isn't really as high, so the monitor sometimes needs to know your first day of peak to give you a second one.
This month, again, you could have had your first day of peak on CD 15 when you didn't test. When the monitor saw somewhat elevated levels, it could have marked you as high, thinking that peak would come next. Because you didn't test one day in there, it is possible the monitor didn't know the 2nd day of a slightly high lh was coming down from a peak, not the lead up to a surge.
Another theory is that you may not have ovulated yet. You can ovulate late sometimes, or you can not ovulate at all in a given month. Last month I got my peak CD 15 and 16. This month I got it CD 19 and 20.
The bottom line is the FM is unpredictable when you don't use a test stick every day right around when you ovulate, because the missing data makes a difference. Unlike the digital OPK, it takes a tally of your hormone levels, and based on the information it gathers, it determines your peak days. If you miss testing on a day that has critical information for the monitor, it can fail to give you a peak day.
Good luck!
