Default I am beginning OPKs

As soon as the OPKs arrive and my period ends. I am anxious to find out if my ovulation is off from what we assumed. I am hoping to conceive a bit easier with the OPKs helping me chart and I am also beginning to temp. (once the thermometer arrives) Any suggestions?

My advice is skip the OPK's and just buy a clear plan easy fertility monitor. They are more accurate in my opinion. Good luck.

Thank you. I will look into it. I have heard they are a bit pricey, but I guess they are cheaper in the long run.

I'd just suggest patience using OPKs on the first cycle and not to throw any "negatives" away, you'll like to have them for comparison when you do suspect a positive result (since OPKs always have 2 lines).

I don't think I could justify spending the money on a fertility monitor when using a combination of other methods works just as well. That's just me personally. I'll certainly give them that they are ultra convenient and eliminates most need for cross-checking fertility signs...but then....wow that's a lot of money...and I really like knowing what my body is up to on any given day anyhow, it's fascinating.

It really is fascinating. I think it is amazing how much our reproductive organs can do with out us knowing. We are lean mean fertility machines.
