OK, before I got pg with my dd, my dh brought a clearblue easy fm. We didn't use it because I did an IUI with monitoring from the Dr via ultrasounds. Since we don't have the money do that at this point, I am trying to use clomid in hopes that it will help me o. I need to call my dr and see if she will up my dose of clomid to 150 since the 100 doesn't seem to be working.

My question is since I don't have regular cycles and i will be using clomid can i still use the FM? Will the meds mess with the results? Will it do any good since I am not sure when I o or if I even do O. I have been using OPK and do get + on them (at least I think) I will continue to use the OPK along with temping and the FM.

Any info will be helpful.

I'm not positive but I think you can use the monitor while being on clomid. I am pretty sure I have heard of women on these boards who have used both together.

We conceived our second daughter using 50 mg clomid and fertility monitor at the same time. And I'm happy to say we conceived the first month of trying. So yes you can use both at the same time. Good luck

My other question is what about my long cycles? I know that the FM will store all your info, but will it still be able to keep track even though I have long cycles?

I think the monitor is designed to work for cy 21-45 days. If your cy is longer than that, I'm not sure what happens . . .

It doesn't matter how long your cycles are...the fertility monitor will tell you when it needs a stick to test and when it doesn't. At the beginning of a cycle it doesn't ask for one and a couple days after peak it won' require test sticks anymore once you go back to low again.
