Clear Plan Monitor too old?
I have a CLear Plan Monitor. I gather it is reaching 7 years of age now. But it has not been used that much and was stored without batteries in its original box.
Last month I started using it again after a late April D&E. My cycle was short in May but the monitor showed 2 bars the whole time never going up to the third high bar. Then AF came and was pretty normal. I started the monitor as it says in the instruction and at day 6 it asked me for tests. Today is day 18 and it is still on the first bar and asking for more tests.
The monitor booklet reads that this sometimes happen if you make a mistake with the testing. I never got an error sign and do not think that is the case.
Now I am wondering has anyone using the monitor shown only 1 bar the whole cycle?
Should I worry that the monitor is not working anymore?
Should I use the ovulation sticks on top of the monitor next month?
Thanks
Iris

I dont think the monitor would be too old, but it sounds like u may need to reset it . U can find the reset instructions on the main TTC with FM/OPK page (I think, I will see if I can find the link).
I would definately be backing up with OPK's aswell. If u still have the same problems after resetting and u get ++OPK's, then maybe it is time for a new FM.
I hope this helps some .

Re: Clear Plan Monitor too old?
My monitor is acting strange too. I did reset it when I receieved it (bought it from ebay). I have had the two bars for a really long time it seems.. never a peak day just the two bars. I dont understand why its not going back down to the one bar. On my chart I havent filled in the last few days, but its still on the two bars, isn't it suppose to be going down now?! Its very fustrating to me because my temp's are all crazy as well.
