Icon5 1 day of peak????? or have I missed it?

Hi,
I am using a clearblue fertility monitor.
My cycles are 30 days and I usually get a peak on day 15 and 16. This month I am on day 16 and I haven`t had a peak yet. I tested on CD14 and it was high, then I tested on CD16 and it was high...I am worrying now that CD15 when I didn`t test was a peak??? or could it be possible I`ve not had it yet? Ive been using the monitot since last October and its never messed up like this...could I have had one day of peak?
I am confused! xxxx

I use the monitor, too. It is important to use it everyday, especially around your peak. The monitor only measures the chemistry in your urine from that day and compares it to the prior information on the system. It cannot guess what happened the day before. Once it detects an actual LH surge, it registers peak, then automatically gives you another peak the second day. If your peak was on the day you forgot to test, your monitor does not know to give you a second day of peak, and it is just reading your information from the current day, which may mean your hormone levels are back to "high" and then may continue on to low. It may keep asking you for more test sticks because it did not detect your peak. The other possibility is that you haven't O'd yet, that you will O late this month, and your hormones are just still testing high. Good luck! It helps if you track your temperatures, too - they can serve as a backup to confirm O'ing if the monitor misses it.

I know how u feel yummy, we r now on cy #16 since beginning this journey, with using the CBEFM, OPK's and great timing and I am slowly starting to loose hope aswell .

I agree with Tkeys regarding the monitor, u should use it everyday without missing any days, that way the monitor gets to know ur cycle.

Another suggestion would also be, to try OPK's along with the monitor, that way, u know that u will be covered .

GL for this cy anyway, I hope u catch that egg
