Default updates anyone?

Hi all

this is a quiet board these days .... how about some updates from everyone to get things going again.

as for me, eagerly or not so eagerly awaiting my appointment with the geneticist this thursday. Its been up and down emotions regarding whether or not I actually want the amnio and so on .... *sigh* will just have to wait and se what happend on the day.

My belly is growing, I look so pregnant now and I can feel little movements when I am lying quiet. I am glad of it though as I have had bleeding every week since I got pg. I was so nervous I got mysef a doppler so I can listen in on what J is doing anytime I want.

and you want a laugh ... I was just posting this photo on another board ... just to remind you what I looked like before I got fat this year .

Good luck with your appointment on Thursday - hope it good news all the way.

Well whats been going on with me and mine ?

Got a call from the school on Friday afternoon as Lewis (11) had an accident at school and his head would not stop bleeding ! Of course they put a plaster on it and two hours later they finally get hold of me (at an aerobics class!). I immediately took him down the hospital to get the gash glued back, which was over his eye brow (very sensitive). So of course I went into panic mode as all parents do !

Karli-Ann (3) is starting BIG school in three weeks time and I haven't got any of her school uniform yet ! Been filling out all the paperwork etc. and making sure she gets her pre-school injections in time. She was down to have them in August, but I told my Health Visitor that was too late as she is starting early.

The other two kids are fine

I am still in love and thinking about perhaps getting a part time job back at the NHS hospital where I worked until Dec 2003. I decided to take a year and a bit off to be with my baby as I have always worked since having all my kids.

Thats me.

Amanda, how are you doing? I'm keeping all my for you for Thursday! We got the before pic of you, were you going to post an now one as well?

Chuckie, Sorry to hear about Lewis, I hope he's feeling better soon. Wow Karli-ann starting big school already, which vacs will she be needing?

I see you are still on with BF it must be what job will you be doing if you go back to work?

Well i've got my appt on 29th March, next week tuesday. I'm a bit suprised they havent sent me an appt sooner as they seem to be getting all persistant with my sugar level controls (which are fine). DH is off next week so he will get to come with me and i've been told that we may (if the dr thinks its justifiable) get a scan.

They work very different here than in London, there they tend to do a date scan at about 12 wks, here they dont get one till 20wks and then you get to see the baby again when you give birth! a little different to the 15 odd scans I got down in London.

Christopher is doing fine, he had a day visit at Little Bunnies on Friday which went xcellent, he was having such a great time I had to pick him up and take him out of there crying. Roll on 5th April!

I'm gradually getting back to 'normal' as far as that is possible. It's getting easier to smile and as long as I don't actually stop and think about anything, I can function pretty much OK. DH has been talking to his boss (she asked after me) and she told him he was as useless as her husband was (I'm paraphrasing here) so she's gone up a few points in my book.

Luke was sick yesterday morning, but he recovered pretty quickly. Apart from cleaning up the mess and losing my lie in, nothing major. I did get lots of cuddles though, so it's an ill wind as they say ...

I only have two more days to work before Easter, then I have two weeks off. I definitely need the break, even if DH doesn't manage to get much time off. He's such a workaholic.

Not very exciting I'm afraid.
