I was just wondering how your midwife appt went yesterday? when is your dating scan? I cant remember you saying if you had had it or not yet?

I've been busy trying to get the house back in order after the holiday. Because we are staying at my mums house as well during the week I have to clean her's when I get there this afternoon as well. I hope this commuting ends soon, the travelling is starting to get to me.

Thanks for asking, the appointment went great thanks. I heard the heartbeat which was my main reason for going, so now I am 'going public, although to be honest bar shouting it from the rooftop I think I have told most people!

I had a scan at 8 weeks to the hb, they said my dates were stil 17th Feb+/- a day or 2, I am due to have another one at around 20 weeks but I haven't got a date yet.

I'm sorry the commuting is getting you down, does your dh have a job lined up locally or is he still looking?

I'm off to my parents this weekend so keep your fingers crossed the weathers good.

How are you doing pg wise?

Ruth sounds like everything is going okay for you. I hope you continue to keep well this pregnancy. LOL about going public, its like you tell everyone telling them not to say anything and before you know it everyone knows!

I'm glad the appt went well and all is going good. Looks like there may even be a chance that you could have a valentine baby???

How did the weekend go at your parents?

I'm getting heavier by the day, and the sleepless nights have already started. I have an u/s, diabetic & antenatal appt at the hospital tomorrow, hopefully we may even get to find out the sex this time, if the baby let's us. I'll try and post before I leave for London yet again!!

The contractors that DH works for has a job in Ely, that should have started on 1st Aug, but as usual planing and delays they have not started it yet. When it starts DH should be nearer our home and free weekends for about 6 months when it starts. But for now he has to work in London (he has tomorrow off for the appts) untill it starts, and as I cant stay home alone because of my low blood sugar levels, I have to travel down to London as well. We will be leaving again tomorrow afternoon/night untill friday. I really hate not having my pc there, I feel so lost without it.

Sorry for the delay in replying I was at home for a few days and then I couldn't get on the boards.
It was a nice w/e at my parents - we have started potty training Skye, fortunately my mum and da have just had laminate to replace their carpet so weasier to wipe up accidents.

It must be hard trying to control your diabetes - is much more erratic in pregnancy than normal?
